Professional Development Programmes

Our belief that every child has the right to go to a good school has lead us to develop a range of professional development programmes using expertise and facilitators from within our trust. This offer is complemented by our ability to facilitate a range of nationally recognised qualifications including the OLEVI Teaching and Learning syllabus. 

Our aim with this offer is to ensure that teachers are able to develop and grow as professionals, thus ensuring that children locally and nationally attend a good school and experience a transformational education.

OTP: The Outstanding Teacher Programme 

The Henry Box School in partnership with Wood Green School are delighted to offer the Outstanding Teacher Programme developed by OLEVI and facilitated by experienced school leaders and teachers. The Outstanding Teacher Programme gives good and outstanding teachers a set of high level skills and strategies, which enables them to become consistently and sustainably outstanding in all areas of their practice, as well as having a significant impact on how students achieve. Endorsed by the National College, the OTP has gained a national reputation for raising standards in teaching and learning.

The OTP is a programme of 7 sessions and delegates will need to attend all sessions.

CTP: The Creative Teacher Programme (Formerly the ITP)

The Henry Box School in partnership with Wood Green School are delighted to offer the Creative Teacher Programme developed by OLEVI and facilitated by experienced school leaders and teachers. The Creative Teacher Programme enables teachers to provide their students with the best possible learning experience; improve standards in their classrooms and schools; increase their job satisfaction and quality of experience and work more effectively as active members of their school team.

The CTP is a programme of 4 sessions (two full days and two half days) and delegates will need to attend all sessions.

OTAP: The Outstanding Teaching Assistant Programme 

The Henry Box School in partnership with Wood Green School are delighted to offer the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Programme developed by OLEVI and facilitated by experienced school leaders and teachers. The programme enables learning support assistants to support their students with the best possible learning experience; improve standards in their classrooms and schools; increase their job satisfaction and quality of experience and work more effectively as active members of their school team.

The OTAP is a programme of 5 sessions and delegates will need to attend all sessions.
